This book makes me believe that it's possible for me to run a marathon.

I'd never heard of the Rarámuri (Tarahumara) people before reading this book, but the author paints such a detailed - and compelling - picture that the book was hard to put down. It forces you to rethink everything you know about running (...assuming that you know something about running in the first place...) and perhaps set some new kinds of goals.

“We run when we're scared, we run when we're ecstatic, we run away from our problems and run around for a good time.”
