really liked it

I thought A Very Private Grave was a terrific book. There is lots of church history in it, but not in a didactic way. The history was simply part of the plot which had its share of twists and turns. I thought the heroine Felicity was was delightful and carefully drawn with enough foiables to seem real. I found my self fearing for her safety at times and hoping for her happiness at others.A book worth reading.
