it was amazing
bookshelves: 2017, fantasy, grownup

In theory, this isn't a perfect book. In theory, it's too long. In theory, there are extraneous points of view and histories we don't need. In theory, there were some repetitive scenes. In theory, a bunch of this belonged in the second book.

In actuality? I gave negative five billion fucks about all of that. I would have read 600 more pages of these characters and their adventures. I would read 600 more chapters about Kell and Lila and Alucard and Rhy and the Londons and magic and Antari. I want 600 more books of snark and scowls and crinkles between eyebrows and sharp smiles and knives and ships and murder and longing...and yeah.

I loved this book. I loved this series. I loved everything full stop. This will be a series I re-read every year and I will love it even more every time.
