Surprisingly, I really liked the whole religious history dot-connecting (whether it's true or not) because I'm not the least bit interested in religion. Maybe because it also had to do with oppression of women? :-)

Aside from that, I was really annoyed with the characters; they seemed really shallow and wooden. Not much personality there and I rolled my eyes more than a few times at things the characters did or said.

The fast-paced "action" parts kept my interest though, and even though I didn't see the movie, I can imagine how it would translate.
