I discovered that this book was aimed for a younger audience too late after alredy bringing it home from the library. Nonetheless, this short little book will entertain teens and some adults as light entertainment. Theo Boone is a 15 year old only child of parents and an uncle who are lawyers and is totally wrapped up in all things legal. He is sought out by his schoolmates to help them with legal advise and aid for such things as retieving a stray dog at "Dog Court" and providing advise on how to avoid foreclosure of a friend's home. Along the way he get's interested in following a local murder trial and soon finds that one of his school friends is aware of a witness that would affect the result but is afraid to come forward because he is an illegal alien. Theo wrestles with how he can make sure justice is carried out without hurting his friend.
