Yah! Another Robert Heinlein book.

I don't know why - I just love them. Well most of them. There has been one so far I just couldn't stand (the name escapes me right now) - the only book I've ever thrown away.

Citizen of the Galaxy was great, following along one of the common themes of Heinlein's books. Young boy thrust into a situation outside of his control (in this case, he's a slave bought by a new master), develops new skills, starts on an incredible journey through space where his engineering / mathematical / mental skills save the day at least once or more... all leading up to the big revelation and happy ending.

All with a good sprinkling of hard science along the way to really get the brain ticking.

Overall a very satisfying novel. Instead of reading it I listened to the unabridged audio version through my local library and finished all 9 hours in the last 24 hours... so I think it's safe to say I enjoyed it.
