Fantastic. I adored the new novellas and was happy to re-read those that I've read prior. I adored seeing Winter and Jacin from when they were younger, to see how strong they are and how deep their relationship flows. To see Kai's POV upon first meeting Cinder was also adorable and the ending of "that mechanic was going to change everything" was positively brilliant. The epilogue "Something Old, Something New" was just perfect. I absolutely loved how Marissa Meyer showed us a glimpse into the "after" for all of these relationships. Though I would have maybe liked a bit more from Jacin and Winter, I think that she did them all justice. The passion of Scarlet and Wolf, subtly of Cress and Thorne, sweetness of Winter and Jacin and comfort of Cinder and Kai shone through absolutely. As did the strength of each couple, and the familial feel of the group as a whole. It was a perfect ending.
