Hiring:
- Run with the ball as long as you can
- You may hire or learn, trying learning first
- You should be involved in all aspects of your business, otherwise you'll have to trust others with your business, that's dangerous
- Hire when it hurts
- Don't hire for pleasure, hire to kill pain
- Problems start when you have more people than you need. You start inventing work to keep everyone busy

When talking to customers:
- Take blame I apology is better
- Culture is the by product of consistency
- Out teach & out support, not outsell
