I read The Luxe series all in a row. Very enjoyable. Splendor is the final book in the series. As a finale goes it was just okay. This was my least favorite of the series. And not because it didn't end the way I hoped. The plot wasn't as exciting as the other books and found my self skimming over many paragraphs that got to wordy. A lot was thrown in and not explained enough, while some things were over explained.

Thoughts on the characters ending without any spoilers ...

* Elizabeth - very happy.

* Teddy - very happy.

* Diana - she grew up. Luvd the decision she made.

* Henry - didn't care so much. A little disappointed.

* Penelope - she kind of got what she deserved but she also got what she wanted so that didn't make me happy at all. This skeeve never has to pay for her sins.

* Lina - happy with her Leland ending. Not so happy with her finale. She was just as conniving as Penelope and deserved a little less than what she got. Sounds mean but I didn't like Lina.
