liked it

This is the first book by this author for me (liked the plot so bought it), and it was quite an OK reading.

I wouldn't say that I like this book. I reminded me of most thriller+romance novels..which is my favourite gendre of reading. The characters are interesting enough. But the thing that kept knacking me is their conversation.

For example, the protagonists might be talking about the case clues and then suddenly diverted to their romantic conflicting feelings--which both tried to avoid due to their personal fear. This is the usual style of writing for this kind of novel--I think. But it happened so often in this novel that I couldn't help thinking that... 'Enough with your personal fear/problems! Stay focused.'

Anyway, I wouldn't mind trying another work by this author. (If I like what I read from the backcover.)
