it was amazing

Absorbing : Vividly Written and Impossible to Forget

The short story can be a powerful form of prose fiction and Verge Le Noir's Shell Casings is certainly testament to that. An absorbing anthology of crime stories infused with irreverent sophisticated comic flair .They can be enjoyed separately or in cohesive order ,each embraces the human condition leaving a taste of distorted morality behind . Somehow both complex and spare these tales sparkle with a sense of the new while paying homage to the chieftains of pulpy crime noir. Satisfying and written with integrity and inspiration .
