It's obvious that behind this book there is a massive research that has been brilliantly executed. Not surprisingly it's very informative; I've found out so many about things I never thought about which was before my eyes every day. So most of the this book was very interesting; there was an entire world behind even the smallest thing.
However this book is also quite targeting English speaking natives (namely Brits and Americans); there are so many references especially about the house and people in UK that I wasn't familiar about whatsoever and those part I felt as if being lost. Or more accurate, as if missing the full meal that I've been offered to. And I'm afraid journey through those "islands" was quite boring. Therefore 3 stars.
