Cipher (The Shadow Ravens, #1)

I devoured Cipher. I read 3/4 of the book so fast and then I milked out the last 1/4 terrified to let it end. I don’t typically read books with heavy basis in technology and hacking, but the minute I met Cipher with her blue hair and tough attitude I knew I was invested in her story. She could have been in any world, and I would have followed her. That is beautiful character writing. Aileen Erin blew me away with the way Cipher experienced the world and once she met Knight I swooned for them as a couple.
Their story is so sweet and unexpected and frankly so vulnerable. It had this hardness that was matched with softness that made it impossible to put down.
And what’s super cool is each of the first three books in the series will be by a different author, introducing a different character. Then they will come together in the fourth book! How cool is that!?!
