it was amazing
bookshelves: currently-reading

One of the best books that I have ever read. Definitely a book that I could not put down. I have a rule that I broke while reading this book. My rule is to NEVER skip ahead in the story or to the end of the book to see what happens. Well, with this book I had to. I could not stand the suspense anymore.
This book is so dark, not a happy feel-good type of read but once you start this book, you will become immersed in the 4 main characters. The author portrays male and female relationships in such a realistic way, almost raw. There is no sugar-coating or flowery romance. There is romance but it is illicit, between two people who are married to others.
This book hit me hard because I felt a connection to one of the characters. A book that has left me thinking for a long time . . .
