Jungle Fire (The Amazon Chronicles, #2)
Jun 06, 2015
Jungle Fire is the second book in this series and continues with characters from the first book, so if you read in order, you will get a clearer understanding of whats going on. The book is about a group of Amazon women that live deep in the jungle. These women only have Indian men around for occasional procreation visits, or at least they did until now. The Amazons decide to join forces with a group of male werecats to mate with, if they choose, instead of the male indians as a treaty to join forces for more protection from outside forces. So, Kyle the leader of the werecats is attracted to Rubia and wants her to be his mate. Rubia will be coming into her womenhood and is expected to mate with the native Indians. Rubia excepts this and is not attracted to Kyle. Kyle's pride believes he is weak because he is paying to much attention to Rubia by trying to win her heart. So, will Rubia change her mind about Kyle? Also, will Kyle be able to stay the leader of his pride and win Rubia's heart? The characters are well written in this story. They are strong, interesting, sexy and hot. This is a great sexy read with a quick plot that flows well without being rushed. I believe if you give this series a read you will get addicted quickly. I was given this book as an ARC and just asked to give an honest review. I really enjoyed this read.
