really liked it

Finding just the right collection of stories is like settling down with a box of varied chocolates, especially if the collection is in a genre you want to read (as opposed to one you are assigned). Steel and Bone is a collection that will make steampunk readers very happy. It’s a collection of nine stories that include both steampunk and also island elements (perfect for summer beach reading). The locations, however, take the reader through concert halls and World Fairs, into airships and laboratories, from Africa to Wild West settings, and on adventures with Italian immigrants. Seers, inventors, and adventurers await you in this book, which made me want to take off on my own adventure after spending time with it. If you have a short story reader in your life who loves the speculation of steampunk, this would be a great addition to their collection.
