it was amazing

Although I probably should have read this book when i was twelve, the concept still makes me feel really comfortable with death. I think it's fair to say that this book takes a totally (to me) new spin on death. I'm sure i've thought up a similar approach to the afterlife, but the creativity in that idea itself gives Zevin some major credits in my book. I wish someone would rewrite it for an older audience- the simplicity did take away a little from my enjoyment, but like i said, if i'd read it a while back i would have LOVED it.
SO, overall:
GREAT idea,
mediocre plot with very very little character development- very straightforward.
i felt like i didn't know the characters at the end...
but fantastic idea. so 5 stars.
