I enjoyed the concept of sharing memories but, like others have pointed out, it made little sense and the mechanics of it all was unknown to us. For example, I'm unable to explain how people are able to record their memories. It just wasn't explained well.

The characters, as well as their romance, fell flat. There was no personality, sparkle or depth to any of these characters, which is always a must for me.

Alternate POV is, I feel, dated. I understand it allowed us to look into both sides of this world but this technique feels somewhat childish. I'm sure the author didn't intend it but this book felt like it was written for a younger audience, like 10-13 years olds, as opposed to young adults.
