really liked it

now that i'm done with the book, i feel like it was a very satisfactory read, but as i was reading the first 80% of it, i felt like it was waaaay more about traveling than biking. that said, i am just as interested in traveling as biking, so i was happy to read about david byrne's adventures all over the world, but i was just expecting to hear a lot more about biking than i got.
however, the last chapter (about byrne's home, new york city) and the epilogue are chock full of bike opinions and tales, as well as very intelligent arguments for biking as a sustainable (and AWESOME) mode of transportation. anyone into biking should read those 2 chapters at least, and anyone from san francisco should read the san francisco chapter.
