it was amazing

This was enjoyable from start to finish. It's a mini horror movie - and very atmospheric and chilly it is! The set-up was spooky and the tension racked up. I thought it very effective for a short story. But it's also a very enjoyable romance. The main character, Alex, was a likeable mixture of insecurity and goofiness when he has time to think, but in times of stress he can buckle down and pragmatically do what's needed. I liked that. Likewise, the romantic interest Shannon is a take-charge leader, but he is not the annoyingly arrogant shit that we sometimes get in the "hero" role - when Alex crushes on Shannon we can believe it!

It's short, but a very fun story.
