Gave up on this one after a couple chapters. Annoying tone, lots of bs gladhand lingo. Skip it.

message 1: by Joshua (new)

Joshua Spent at enjoyable day being lectured by Dave Snowden (Cynefin Framework, etc) who argued that book was broken, as the most important thing in all those success stories was that each started out the "dominant predator" in their respective ecosystems, and that fact alone explained that unless they were wildly incompetent they would figure it out. (Hence, not much value in reverse engineering the successes beyond perhaps what got the company *to* the great opportunity in the first place.) Haven't dug in enough to agree or disagree but it was the first critical voice I'd ever heard raised against Good To Great.
