I know I'm only supposed to be reading medical boards review books, but Peter and Patricia got me this for my birthday, and I was just going to read a little before falling asleep at night... it ended up keeping me up pretty late more than one night!

The writing here is beautiful in that Bender does an amazing job of characterizing emotions. I cried several times throughout the book just because she was so poignant and relatable. My only complaint is that the plot doesn't move forward very often, but since the writing itself was enjoyable, that wasn't as bothersome as it could have been. Great book.
