Alright, I'm 'reviewing' one of my own bks again for the sake of adding it to the GoodReads database. This is, in some ways, my least 'important' bk but, still, collecting 16 yrs' worth of phrases conceived of while in a particular mental state is nothing to sneeze at (unless it somehow clogs yr nostrils - wch I doubt that it wd do unless you're in the habit of sticking any old thing up yr nose!). It does have a plethora of some pretty nifty language: "something backwards, you have to have 1 of those things & 2 of everything", "knack & carack., the carrying away by pens changalamp" - that sort of thing.

Eddie Watkins I'm curious about this. What's this "particular mental state"?

Tentatively, Convenience Phrases in my mind while more asleep than awake - usually while waking up. The hard part, as w/ keeping a dream diary, is to force oneself awake enuf to write the phrases down before one forgets them.

Eddie Watkins Right up my alley. I'd like a copy, if any are available.

Tentatively, Convenience OP, Out-of-Print. HOWEVER, a revised LARGER, UPDATED edition is included in full in my bk "footnotes" that I've probably mentioned before that can be gotten online from Amazon. Try a search for "tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE" + "footnotes" & you shd be able to find it. Let me know if you get one b/c my 'publisher' (HA HA!) doesn't pay royalties or supply me w/ sales reports. P.s.: there're images as well as phrases.

Eddie Watkins Good enough. I'll let you know if I get a copy.

I'll certainly be curious about what you think. The beginning chapter(s) address my 1st bk (wch you already wrote such an astute review about) & I'll be especially curious to read what you think about my explanations of that.
