The Franchise Affair (Inspector Alan Grant, #3)

Excellent plot, 15-year-old sweet young thing out to destroy two respectable women. Beautiful writing. Josephine Tey wrote few books, relatively speaking, but she deserved acclaim for all of them. Let's not lose these wonderful older books, ever. The world would be the poorer if, all of us turning to electronic readers, these great old story disappears. I looked for "A Staircase in Surrey", a wonderful five-volume book by J.I.M. Stewart (I think it was five volumes, but my memory is faulty) to recommend it to someone, but it was not available. We can't keep losing books like these out-of-print masterpieces. Someone has to digitize them. It's work, I know. But someone has to.
