it was amazing
bookshelves: own, ya, fodder, series

I actually sweated during parts of this book. I can't believe how incredible the writer made a human in a fantasical mythical world seem nothing but awesome and inpiring. Too many writers let human characters who are supposed to drive the damn story to heaven and beyond with awesome feats of human bravery and autruism (sp probably sry) straight to hell with their less than stellor whining and lack luster character. Not Grace; Grace is not kick ass but never the less her will and character plays to her strengths in protecting what she loves and her sincere acknowledgment of her faults leads her to humble herself when necessary. It's a real treasure to find a human in a paranormal or fantasy work who is more than a grab bag or a mixed bag where you get what u get because we're "JUST HUMaN".
