it was amazing

The details provided surrounding the events of that year, the quotes and descriptions by numerous soldiers as well as the leaders, makes for a deeper understanding of the beginnings of our American Revolution. To more fully comprehend and marvel at the sacrifices and commitment of those first Americans; what they endured is hard to fathom. I have read many accounts of the history and the leaders of our founding and the Revolutionary War. Nothing has given me more appreciation and gratitude for all the people who paid for our freedom and liberties with their blood and their sacred honor, than this amazing book.
Well deserving of the Pulitzer.
