really liked it
bookshelves: fiction

Teenagers start dying horrible deaths. There seems to be no connection between the teans, but they did share one experience, they all watched a video that gave them a week to live after viewing it, unless they did ... Not only do they not take it seriously, they erase the ending that gives the way to prevent your death, so the next person is doomed. (this is all early on in the book). The next person who finds the video and watches it tries to figure out the remedy before his time is up. This book was suspenseful on so many levels - will he make the connections to the kids, will he figure out how to prevent the deaths, what is the mystery behind the video? When his family watches the video he has to work even harder to find the answers. The search takes him and a friend going in all sorts of directions.
While it is a stand alone book, you need to read all of the books in the series to really apreciate all of the details and levels in this one.
