Definately over the top... seriously how can Andrew's life get any worse, Strand pours it on in this one... both the psychokiller/ adventure side of his life and his relationship with his wife and kids gets totally overamped and to be honest i think Andrew's life is made even worse.

These books are funny and a fast great read... but if you step outside the humor and really look in, Andrew is a totally damaged man... from scars and the loss of a finger in this one... to finanical ruin (compounded with his wife's pregnancy in this volume)... to sheer "badluck" that hounds the man and the horrible strain on his relationship with his family... including tons of mental damage to both his children...

Anyway... lets shake off those thoughts, it must be the time of year... Putting aside the deep thoughts we have a story that is fast paced, humourous, and very entertaining.
