it was amazing

I've liked China Bayles since the first book of the series. Some mystery series get tired after a few volumes, but Susan Wittig Albert keeps coming up with new ways to keep us interested. In this book, she has two mysteries unravelling at once-the one China is helping to solve, and one from 1912. The two complement each other nicely. And as always, I learned more about the title herb. Since the story is set in a Shaker village, I also learned more about that lifestyle. All in all, a very nice change of pace in one of my favorite mystery series.
