The Two Minute Rule

After Max Holman serves ten years for bank robbery, he hopes to reconcile with his son---now a policeman. That's the starting point for a fast paced tale of loss, change and redemption. When his son and three other police officers are murdered it seems that the official story seems a bit off and Holman works with the former FBI agent who arrested him to uncover what really happened. As always, Crais presents a tightly plotted story and does an excellent job explicating the ins and outs of crime detection.
