really liked it
bookshelves: classroom-library, history, ghost, horror

I enjoyed this book for the historical aspects, as well as the ghosts. I like books and shows about ghosts and ghost hunting, and it was interesting to see a book about the time period where spirit images were becoming popular - whether they were real or faked. The pacing was good, and Horace and Pegg were strong characters that I enjoyed. I liked that Horace had to struggle with his scientific background for a while. The ending was a bit obvious, though, with the exception of the addition of the other Eleanora. Yet I liked that the author left it with suspense. Will she be okay or not?
