I first found this book on a shelf in China, a friend had it at his coffee shop and I started to read. Especially since the author is from my hometown. The writing is very very good, for that I give 2 stars and for the other 1 because McCarthy knows how to write characters very well.
However, this book is icky to read. It makes me feel icky and tense and perhaps thats the success of the book. I actually don't think its a bad thing...just not for me.
