So far, not a Camus lover or even liker. Better than L'Estranger, which I really didn't grasp either time. The Plague is much easier to follow and it is an interesting allegory for the German occupation of France. Is has interesting historical value, but I found it hard to connect with the characters. I got most of the characters confused. The only person who was easy to constantly identify was Dr. Rieux, but he was lacking in personality and feeling. I rate my books based on how enjoyable they were to read, and this one I just wanted to get through, so I could get onto a more interesting one.
