The Rose & the Dagger (The Wrath and the Dawn, #2)

I loved it. I loved it so much that I cannot put it into words how much. What an amazing conclusion to a beautiful story. Just as good if not better than The Wrath and the Dawn. Utterly quotable, I found myself re-reading passage after passage. The characters stayed true to themselves, the plot threads were well thought out and concluded wonderfully, and the relationships were beautiful and flawless. Absolutely stunning, I will read anything Ahdieh writes.

“I’ve missed the silence of you listening to me.” Shahrzad attempted a weak smile. “No one listens to me as you do.” His expression turned quizzical. “You don’t wait to speak,” she clarified. “You truly listen.” “Only to you,” Khalid replied gently.”
