It's hard for me to rate books that I didn't really enjoy reading but that I think are very good. This play was a very uncomfortable (though quick!) read: first it feels like you're trapped in a terrible marriage, then like you're trapped at a terrible party; then like you're trapped in a terrible society where marriages are all awful. But it was very smart, very well-written, and very emotionally engaging.

Unfortunately, I can't help but think I'm missing something vitally important by never having read any Virginia Woolf.
