This is a very satisfying read. It has an unexpected twist, which elevates it from the usual, and gives the reader pause for thought. The characters are appealing and their behaviours are realistic. The parents of the twins, and Tanner's too play an important, but mostly off camera role. I'm always fascinated by the best friends and sisters rule, as it seems inevitable that the girl you grow up with will know you the best ... maybe that is challenged here, but as in all good romances, things have a way of being resolved by the end!

The writing flows smoothly and fluently, making the story come to life, and the outcome matter. It is a nice change to be focusing on swimming as the sport in the background, and how the intensity of training transfers over into an intensity in life, and love. A lovely romance, with some interesting rocks in the road. I recommend it to you.
