A very enjoyable and whimsical read. As with most science fiction, this book is a more interestig exploration of the past in which it was written than one of the future in which it is set. With everyone's attention (and imagination) set on The War and The Atom, diverting attention to the as-yet unvisited moon was certainly entertaining in its day.

While the excitement of the moon is gone, this is still an adventurous story that's worth the short read. Don't expect to have your socks knocked off through adventure, surprise, or wonder, but do expect to lose yourself in some fun. It's a great summertime short.
