The book is a little different from what I thought but an incredible eye opener nonetheless. If nothing else this book reinforces the truth that the victors write the history. That Stalin could get away with the murder of millions yet still be hailed a hero is beyond belief. What I found even more astonishing was that successive American governments would continue to turn a blind eye to the horrors perpetrated upon their own citizens in Soviet gulags. A must read about a little talked about piece of history.
