Curious for my first reread since my teen years -- Lyra still annoys me, and Lee and Iorek are still the greatest. The book I really want to read is still Lee Scoresby, Serafina Pekkala, and Iorek the Bear Go on Adventures.

Kimberly Once Upon a Time in the North has two of the three - Lee Scoresby and Iorek the Bear Go on Adventures.

Allison Whoa, what? The book I want exists? I had not heard of that! Thank you! *runs to check if we have it*

Kimberly Yeah! It's just a little thing, one of his short stories/novella type things. It's the second of three that he plans to write. The first one was Lyra's Oxford, which isn't as good as Once Upon a Time in the North but is still fun.

It's a really cool book because it has "extras" like postcards and letters and a little game in the back. I'm in love with the whole thing.
