really liked it

This is a fantastic book. It is a parable about colonialism, empire, desire and justice. I have been wanting to read coetze forever, and being in South Africa seemed like a good occasion. I am very glad I did.

Declan I recommend Life and Times of Michael K by same author. I thought it was even better than the above. Great author.
