really liked it
bookshelves: series, historical-romance, western-cowboy

This is a wonderful, sweet love story between two great, classic characters. It's not vomit-enducing sweet, but just well-written such that it's credible, and enjoyable. It's not super-steamy, but is more sensual than the first in the series, and there is action, but nothing gruesome, or couch-gripping suspenseful.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Will probably keep it on my kindle for when I'm feeling soppy.

Danielle The Book Huntress (Back to the Books) I adore this book. Sam and Sarah are such a good couple. Although no one tops Carter, Sam is a great hero!

Ruth I love all Jodi Thomas books. There's something about the way she writes that just pulls me in, without being an exhausting emotional journey.
