really liked it

One of the funniest books I've ever come across. I had reservations about reading it initially because Colbert's personality is so distinct on the Report that I thought it would be impossible to reproduce in print. I was wrong. Every word of every page of this book suggests that it is spoken directly from the the mouth of Stephen Colbert (the character.)
I was especially impressed with the hilarious use of sidenotes and footnotes and their careful placement within the text to get the most out of the comedy. The only reason I don't give this book five stars is that, as with any satire, the book can get a little tedious at times. However, these occurences are minimal at most and can be overlooked because of the overall freshness of the humor.
