it was amazing

The Institute is a well-planned, well-written YA science fiction/dystopian novel. Fans of action/adventure and science fiction are going to like this. Personally, I couldn’t put it down. I’m very excited to know what happens next, so I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

The Institute doesn’t allow people to be different, and anyone who is “different” (I won’t say how because that would be a spoiler), is taken away; never to be heard from again. Allira Daniels lives on the edges of this world, constantly on the run since her brother was determined to be “defective.” She soon learns that she is also a defective, which catapults the story into new territory – hold onto your seats!

I really liked this book. It captured my interest from page one. It’s one of those you don’t want to put down until it’s finished. Overall, author Kayla Howarth, is a capable writer with a wide imagination and the ability to create a believable environment. Can’t wait to see what’s next for Allira.
