it was amazing

Excellent book! The ABC's of Sexual Assault was very readable, extremely informative, and held my rapt attention for hours at a time! Learning about the nuances of forensic nursing techniques, legal protocols, and courtroom procedures was a totally new and very enlightening experience for me!

As a physician reading the book, I felt that health, criminal justice, and legal professionals could all learn a great deal from the book without feeling "talked down to" by the authors, who presented a wealth of well-chosen topics in a very clear, well-organized, understandable, and "professional" manner!

The ABC's of Sexual Assault also served to further educate doctors and nurses about legal and courtroom procedures and alternatively, police, lawyers, and judges about anstomical, medical, and forensic nursing considerations.
The authors presented BOTH the medical and legal aspects of providing the best possible standards of care and due process to the assault victim in an easy-to-read well-integrated format!

Authors Ditton and Gray made an exceptional effort in clarifying and presenting the Anatomy, Bunk/myths, and the Courtroom aspects of sexual assault to all dedicated and concerned medical, criminal justice, and legal professionals involved in the initial evaluation and care of the victims of sexual assault and in the often frustrating and difficult legal efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice!

I very much enjoyed reading the book and came away with a much deeper understanding and a more informed perspective of the complex forensic and legal processes involved in the investigation and prosecution of sexual assault!
