After world war 2 dragons appeared again, burning down cities until a truce was agreed upon and the dragons given their own territories. Of course instead of keeping in contact and building trust the two species distance each other and wait with suspicion for the other to attack.

Fifty years later a girl crosses the divide that keeps two very different species apart and discovers that human and dragon can in fact be friends.

The military are becoming angsty though and decide to strike first, starting a war between dragon and humans. The reason for this dangerous and pointless move, who knows, the general's evil ok?

So Kay and Artegal set out to stop the war.

The beginnings slow, the middle much better but the very end takes a lot on faith. I'm not convinced they achieved anything with their last stunt.

Kay was a good character. Artegal a little flat, but then again he's a dragon so that gives him cool points by the ton. The teen romance seemed beside the point.
