bookshelves: history, religion, thriller, travel

A great papal thriller set in today dealing with the fall-out and reverberations of the attempt on the life of John Paul II in 1981. It is a nicely done thriller with some serious twists that keep you hoping and guessing. Some intriguing speculation on the nature of the Vatican, The Church and the links between various outside and inside groups.
