really liked it
bookshelves: classics, children

The Little Prince is the beloved classic tale of a pilot who crashes in an African desert who meets a little boy who is a prince who lives on his own planet. The prince’s life on his own planet and how he came to earth is related to the pilot, and I can’t reveal any more than this since it would give away pieces of the story that you need to read yourself. Like Shel Silverstein poems, the book is a children’s book with greater appeal and even greater depth for adults. It preaches about simplicity, love, individuality, and the truly important things about life. Must read for those who haven’t read this; and a recommended read for those who haven’t read it in over ten years.
