liked it

The book was reasonably deep for being so short. The only thing I didn't really like was that it didn't go into depth about V and Sam's relationship. I mean, one page he was bringing her bread, the next page said they'd been together for 3 months. A lot of the book was thrown out of chronological order. In some places, it added to the overall effect. In other places it was just confusing.

But I was kind of relieved that V never made things perfect with her mom. I was terrified that Mackler was going to have her mother have this huge revelation and change her ways and all sorts of other unbelievable crap. But in the end, I feel it was better the way it was. People don't change overnight, and that was believable.

V on the other hand, went through a fairly interesting and believable change that I enjoyed reading about. So, overall, it was a pretty good book.
