This was the first Jonathan Tropper book I read. It was about 6 months ago, and I don't know why I didn't write a review at the time. I think part of the reason for my enthusiasm is that it was such a surprise. I had never heard of the book or Mr. Tropper, and when I started it I almost put it aside. It seemed like a guy book that wasn't going to appeal to me. On further reading, I realized that while the narrator's voice is definitely male, his sense of humor and observations are right on and his dialog pitch-perfect. There's a lot of intelligence here, and I think it has an appeal for both male and female audiences.
