it was amazing

What I think this novel did for me was set a challenge. It seems like the white whale of creative writing, creating an entire world from scratch, and spark the imaginations of millions. I am not generally in to science-fiction, but the mythological base for Middle Earth fascinates, as most historical allusions in works do. I think creating their own middle-earth should be a goal for all writers. Not literally a fictional world of dwarves and elves, but rather something distinctly their creation that the control every single aspect of their universe that could possibly be thought of. Thats the ultimate creative writing
